GFI Software Scoops Two Awards from Computing Security
GFI Cloud awarded Cloud Security Solution of the Year and SME Security Solution of the Year
GFI Software™ today announced that its cloud solution for small to medium sized businesses, GFI Cloud™ won two awards at the annual Computing Security Awards. GFI Cloud won the award for Cloud Security Solution of the Year and SME Security Solution of the Year. This years’ award wins marks the fourth year running that GFI Software has collected an award at the Computing Security Awards, bringing its tally to six awards won in the last four years.
GFI Cloud has been designed with the busy IT admin in mind. Through a single management console, IT admins are able to secure networks, catch problems early on and fix them before they affect the business, deploy software patches, gain control of end user web browsing, deploy antivirus and monitor workstations and servers. GFI Cloud allows IT admins to manage their networks through an internet dashboard anytime, anytime, without complex licensing or processes.
The annual Computing Security Awards were held at the prestigious Hotel Russell in London and the winners of the Computing Security Awards were voted for by the readers of the Computing Security magazine. The award ceremony was presented by Radio 4 presenter and former England cricket captain Chris Cowdrey, along with comedian Patrick Monahan, the winner of ITV’s “Show Me the Funny”.
“GFI Cloud has been designed to ease the day-to-day lives of IT admins at SMB organisations,” said Sergio Galindo, head of global product management at GFI Software. “To have picked up two awards for GFI Cloud solidifies the products’ place in the market as the leading cloud solution for the SMB market as it provides organisations with security and management functionalities that allow IT admins to effectively manage the entire IT estate through a single console.”
“The 2013 Computing Security Awards were a great success for GFI Software, and we congratulate them along with all our winners and finalists," said Perry Neil, sales manager for Computing Security. “GFI Software achieved an impressive victory, winning both Cloud Security Solution of the year and SME Security Solution of the Year, underlying the importance of advanced cloud computing solutions to our readers and the high regard in which they hold GFI Software.
