  5. In the In the Call Control Parameters node  > Module 0X2: TR1034+P8V8FH-E1-1N section > Ethernet/IP Port tab, configure the following:

    • Set the appropriate IP Call Control Module (SIP or H.323)

    • Configure the IP Address of the card.

Note: The Brooktrout FoIP card needs to have an IP assigned to it, which is different from the IP of the server hosting the card.

    • Configure the IP Netmask

  6. If using SIP, in the IP Call Control Modules > SIP > IP Parameters tab, set the sip_Contact with the IP and port of the Machine which is hosting the Brooktrout Card. Set the sip_default_gateway: to the Server's IP which is acting as Router. In both cases, Port 5060 should be used.

    Configure the SIP settings
  7. If using H.323, in the IP Call Control Modules > H.323 > IP Parameters tab, set the h323_default_gateway to the IP address of the gateway to use for outbound calls.  Port 1720 is the default port for a H.323 gateway.

  8. When setting up the VOIP gateway, incoming faxes needs to be routed to the IP address used by the NIC card on the GFI FaxMaker server.
