The DMG Gateway is not responding incoming calls with GFI FaxMaker

PROBLEM

When ringing to a line that is connected to a DMG (Dialogic) voice gateway, the call rings normally, however, the gateway does not pick up the call 

ENVIRONMENT

  • GFI FaxMaker
  • Dialogic DMG 1000
  • All Supported Environments

SOLUTION

In the DMG Gateway configuration, go to:
  1. Routing Table > VoIP hosts Groups
    User-added image
  2. Delete the red box
  3. Restart the gateway

CAUSE

A red field is created automatically. This will not allow the gateway to pick up the call, thus nothing will be forwarded to the GFI FaxMaker Server.
