Additional policies and procedures

  • Product pricing includes SMA.
  • There is an update component that is included in SMA.
  • The update component includes Norman, and Bit Defender; and GFI Trojan and Executable Scanner and Email Exploit Engine.
  • There are three (3) product options to this product: Kaspersky Virus Scanning; McAfee Virus Scanning; and AVG Virus Scanning. Each is optional and priced separately.
  • In the event a customer wishes to license a Product Option: they must license to the total number of product licenses. For example if a customer has licensed 20 Mailboxes of GFI MailSecurity and they want to license the Kaspersky Virus Scanning Product Option, they would have to license 20 Mailboxes of the Kaspersky Virus Scanning Product Option.
  • Product options are NOT included as part of renewal SMA and need to be priced separately.
  • There is only one key issued per product. Because there is only one key per product SMA and subscription services must end on the same date.
  • For Add-On licenses, SMA is free until the expiration date of the Main Product SMA date.*
  • All SMA and product options can be ordered for 1, 2 or 3 years.
  • Version upgrade pricing includes first year SMA.

Quantity band pricing is calculated as follows:

  • Product is by individual product and Purchase Order (do not total Units licensed by product or Units licensed on prior Purchase Orders).
  • SMA: is calculated by total licenses by product (total all the units for a particular product).k.

* For multiple year SMA contracts on the Main Product, the SMA for the Add-on licenses is free up until the first anniversary of the Main Product license. Add-on annual SMA needs to be purchased to cover remaining year(s).
