GFI FAXmaker client now also in Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Turkish and Arabic
GFI Software has announced that the ReportPack for its fax server product, GFI FAXmaker is now available in German, Italian and Spanish. The GFI FAXmaker client is now also available in Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Turkish and Arabic.
GFI FAXmaker is the leading fax server in the small to medium-sized business market with tens of thousands of customers. The latest localization update for the product is another step towards providing GFI FAXmaker to as many markets as possible, particularly in countries where the software is required in the native language.
"This is another phase in our program to localize our product portfolio. A few months ago, we launched GFI FAXmaker in Italian and Spanish; now we have included the ReportPack and have added additional localization to the GFI FAXmaker client. Our efforts to provide our software in different languages have been well-received by our customers, and this step complements our efforts to provide a high quality, cost effective solution to help them address messaging concerns within the organization," GFI's CEO Walter Scott said.
"Localization is a major project for GFI and we plan to have more than half of our product portfolio available in Spanish, Italian, German and Russian by the end of the year. This is already having a positive impact on existing customers and we are confident that availability in other languages will open up a new market for us in terms of organizations that insist on localized solutions for their networks. Furthermore, when used in conjunction with our email archiving product, GFI MailArchiver, customers will also be able to archive all their faxes just like they would archive emails," Mr Scott added.
The latest release of GFI FAXmaker includes support for Brooktrout boards on Windows Server 2008 and improved support for Active Directory groups when configuring routing.
