GFI MailArchiver has allowed us to keep all messages archived and organized beyond anything that comes with MS Exchange by default (PST hell). Keeping all messages in MSSQL allows for easy backup and restoration. It also allows us to handle customer disputes very quickly and to stop misuse of company IT resources. The search function needs an OR option when adding search criteria, but other than that, great product. Technical support is outstanding. We honestly could not comply with FDIC retention policies, or our own policies, without it.

It all began three years ago when my boss called me and said: "Laurent, I need to retrieve an email address that I have lost. It is very important. Over the years, we have accumulated many personal PST files that needed to be managed. One of the problems was the seasonal nature of our Youth Workers and Interns. We had to keep their email available because we may need to research an issue with a child or family that happened in previous years. This was proving difficult at best. When I heard about GFI MailArchiver, I said "This is what we need to manage all of our email archives!". We implemented the product and created procedures for accessing the archives.
