GFI FAXmaker for Networks/SMTP is a network fax server that allows users to send and receive faxes from their desktops - either through the GFI FAXmaker client or using their email client, via GFI FAXmaker’s email-to-fax gateway.

Zero fax administration
Version 10 provides zero administration through a new rules-based interface that almost eliminates configuration and maintenance work for network administrators. Users are automatically retrieved from Windows 2000 or XP, fax clients can be automatically deployed, and the fax server can be remotely monitored and configured. For those using the SMTP email-to-fax gateway, all communication between server and client is via SMTP, making it extremely scalable.

Automatic application integration via NetPrintQueue2FAX
GFI FAXmaker for Networks/SMTP 10 introduces NetPrintQueue2FAX, a feature that can be used to automate faxing from any application. Users can embed a fax number in a document (for example, an invoice) and print to the GFI FAXmaker network print queue from anywhere in the network - the document is then faxed automatically without the user having to enter the fax number separately in the GFI FAXmaker fax form. With NetPrintQueue2FAX, users can also utilize the Microsoft Word mail merge feature to send fax broadcasts by merging a document to a database of fax numbers.

New fax client supports Outlook Contacts as phonebook
GFI FAXmaker for Networks/SMTP 10 includes a new fax client that can use the Outlook Contacts as the fax phonebook. This means users can maintain one address book for both email and fax contacts, making it easy for them to broadcast information to a number of people whether they have an email or a fax address.
