GFI Software, a leading infrastructure provider for small and medium-sized businesses, today announced that its security business unit has completed certification from the OESIS OK program founded by OPSWAT, a provider of development tools that power software application manageability. This certification provides enterprise and consumer prospects and customers with independent verification that GFI VIPRE® Antivirus products operate seamlessly with thousands of compliance, manageability assessment and support solutions.
VIPRE achieved Certification for the Antivirus category and Gold Certification in the antiphishing category for all consumer and enterprise versions, including VIPRE Antivirus and VIPRE Antivirus Premium, and VIPRE Enterprise and VIPRE Enterprise Premium. In addition, Certification was also achieved in the Firewall category by VIPRE Antivirus Premium.
The OESIS Framework is a cross platform, open development framework which enables software engineers and technology vendors to develop products that detect, classify and manage thousands of third-party software applications. OESIS OK certification confirms that VIPRE products are detected and controlled by the OESIS Framework and guarantees uninterrupted connectivity and interoperability between VIPRE endpoint protection products and the many technology solutions that employ OESIS.
