Despite almost all business being conducted over email, fax still has a place in the modern organization. With email, senders’ identities cannot be verified, traffic can be intercepted or sniffed, and an email signature isn’t necessarily legally binding. With a fax, a signature is as legal as if you were standing right in front of the person. With fax over IP (FoIP), you can fax without the drawbacks of old, making faxing even more useful today than it was 20 years ago.

As stated in this video, the importance of fax is still highly valuable in a company even with the existence of emails.
Being in the marketing department of an Internet Service Provider company, though I do most of my transactions with clients through emails but once I send out proposals usually for exchange deals, I use a fax machine. I wanted my clients to feel that my proposals were specifically drafted for them to suit their need for an internet connection. Also, I want the necessary signatures to appear legitimate and personalized for my clients. And with this strategy, I’m glad that I get most of my deals successfully!
