What Is Fax over IP?

Fax over IP (FoIP) is the latest incarnation of the eminently reliable fax technology. It uses all the benefits that IP brings to elevate fax to a more modern level. It’s fast, secure and can use your existing network infrastructure to transmit faxes anywhere in the world.

FoIP makes good sense. You can enjoy all the benefits fax offers, but without the overheads. It isn’t often that something gets better with age and costs less at the same time. FoIP enables network faxing to do both!

We are actually using this one in our office now. We still practice filing hard copies of some of our documents for easy reference. It is even more convenient coordinating with our other branches domestically. It is fast and reliable. FoIP also saves our company from additional costs.

Aside from FoIP, we also took advantage of VoIP, Voice over IP. With this, it enables us to communicate with our other branches immediately without having to go through an operator for a domestic call or having to spend extra for a long distance call. These deals that IP can offer gives a company the benefit to maximize its resources and at the same time saves them a lot of money.
