More Twitter followers, more Twitter competitions!
@GFISoftware has hit another milestone on Twitter with over 5,000 followers keeping themselves up-to-date on all the latest news in web security, email management, network security and managed services and all other GFI Software-related events.
Our Twitter account is kept active on a daily basis and is a great channel which we use to advise people about their IT and security queries, announce latest developments, report white papers and case studies and even run some great competitions with fantastic prizes.
Troubleshooting
If you’re a GFI client and you’re not quite sure where to go with your query, contact us @GFISoftware – we don’t offer troubleshooting advice directly on Twitter but we can point you in the right direction so that you can speak directly to the person who will be able to help you.
Software trial versions
Thinking of trying out our latest software? Keep updated on Twitter as we let you in on all the latest news and developments and provide with direct links to download all our software – which are all available as trial versions, unless they’re absolutely free!
Competitions
Of course, it’s not always about work, sometimes we need to have fun too! And we want you to share in the fun by participating in our competitions. Until now we’ve given away dozens of T-shirts and one great PlayStation 3! And here’s where the really great news lies…
It’s competition time again and the prize is a fantastic iPod Touch!
The rules are simple enough. If you’ve been following @GFISoftware, then you’ve been introduced to our latest recruit, MAX. MAX just joined GFI this week and he’s had a particularly busy time with everyone wanting to get to know him better, so he’d like to do something fun this weekend… and this is where you come in.
Tell us about the best place to hang out in your city/town and why? Photos are welcome (and don’t forget to actually let us know where it is that you live!)
Conditions: Follow @GFISoftware, tweet your answer and tag it with #gfi to be eligible for the prize.
The competition is open NOW and the winner will be chosen on Thursday 6th August 2009. Internal voting will take place to establish the best and most creative tweet that deserves to win. The winner will be notified via DM. (Tweets that are not tagged with #gfi will not be eligible to win.)
Edit: The winner of the fantastic iPod Touch is @tubblog with his tweet: @GFISoftware I’d recommend The Old Contemptibles pub in Birmingham, UK. An old fashioned pub, good beer and award winning Sausages.
#gfi
Winner Richard Tubb from @tubblog very kindly gave the winning prize to his office manager, Sharon Howard. Sharon is clearly very pleased with the gift!
Don’t worry if you weren’t a winner this time because we’ve got yet another competition coming up very, very soon! Keep following @GFISoftware on Twitter and keep following our blog for all the latest updates and information.
Feel free to take MAX along with you to your favourite place; I’m sure he’d have a great time!(He can be downloaded as a high quality image to your right as can be seen below.) As always you can be as creative as you like but please stick to the basic rules of decency and morality. Any offensive tweets will not be considered.
Print out Max and show him around
