Dumb AND Greedy! Everything that glitters is gold and I will never settle for less than everything. These two statements describe why the victims were so easily fooled.

I don’t agree with you Drew. These people are plane dumb and st#@%d. They want to make money quicker, and this is all they got. They deserve all these. I’m not bitter or something. Money can really make people do dim-witted things, even to the extent of losing their sanity.

I’m really at awe of how the Canadian doctor is so foolish to fall for this kind of scam. I mean – HE’S A DOCTOR for crying out loud.

Also worth considering is that these successful people may have let arrogance blind them. A classic case of the emperor’s new clothes. After obviously being quite well off in their respective positions, maybe they thought themselves too smart to be fooled, only to be left punched in the gut with the hard truth. Nobody is immune when it comes to fleecers.

These people did not know what they’re doing. Maybe they were hypnotized or something. Knowledge is really a great and useful power. If all of them have known before-hand, they would have stayed away.

But I wouldn’t call them “dumb” or “stupid”. Take for instance Warren Buffet. He is one of the world’s foremost investors, businessmen, and industrialists. Some say he is the smartest CEO ever. However, Mr. Buffet has one obvious flaw – he does not know how the Internet works. But he’s not dumb.

Same thing for these victims.
