As opposed to what many people believe, I think a major reason why many companies follow through on being green is the fact that a lot of the methods used end up costing far less in the long run. Take the fax server for instance, removing the need for paper may save a company quite a pretty penny if it relies on faxes for most documentation. I’m not discounting the intention behind going green mind you, I’m just pointing out the practical cost benefits of going green.

I've noticed that going green has become a very popular initiative for a lot of companies nowadays. Whether it's a way of boosting their corporate image, generating loyalty, awareness or social responsibility amongst its employee; businesses are always looking for efficient and economical ways of "going green". Personally, I think that, whatever your company's motivations may be, taking the initiative to become more environmentally friendly is always a great idea to follow through on.
