It mostly depends of how large and the type of multi-tenancy in question. It also depends on the kind of security you’re looking for and from what point-of-view. For example, if you’re running the multi-tenant environment where it just a share SQL system it is one thing, while if your multi-tenancy is an SaaS solution which you do not have direct control of and is instead managed by your provider, it is another thing.

I definitely agree with all the points you listed. Though auto updating does work on smaller network of three to five stations, a larger quantity of units require a bit more customizability and flexibility.

Great write-up on GFI Languard though, I’ll definitely be bringing this up in our next project update. Looking forward to reading more about it.
