That’s why most anti-virus vendors have several offerings to their consumers. Most of them offer up to five classifications. The most common versions include the following:

- personal and family use (non-commercial)
These are usually offered to home users with one or more computer units.

- personal use (for commercial)
These are applied for end users in offices or business establishments.

- commercial use
Usually, these are applied to servers that handle a lot of workstations. The business can either be an SMB or a multinational corporation.

Each of these anti-virus type has different functions. They have tools and features distinct from one another.

I’m a new entrepreneur and am not really a techie. I know technology, but I don’t know enough to manage the person I hired to take care of our IT needs. I am guilty of sacrificing effectiveness for “cost-savings” much to the chagrin of my IT guy.

I stumbled on this video because I’m well aware that I need to arm my business against threats especially since I will be holding confidential information (My company is a consultancy firm plus service providers of certain businesses). Now, I understand my IT person better whenever he insists on some things.

This video certainly has been helpful.
